The studies show that those old people, who burn calorie by balance physical activities like brisk walking, swimming and gardening, are less at the risk for Alzheimer. As the researchers of California University, calorie burning due to exercise can increase the gray matter volume in the main areas of brain that are responsible for memory, thus protects the brain of elderlies against reducing the cognitive ability.
